We are monitoring AWS closely but believe the issue has mostly stabilized. We will continue to monitor and work with AWS.

We are actively working with AWS support to determine a proper fix for this issue. The problem seems to be isolated to a small subset of API instances which are being closely monitored and investigated by AWS.

This incident affected: AWS RDS (us-east-1), AWS ELB (us-east-1), and AWS EC2 (us-east-1).
